HEDS UP for Los Niņos is dedicated to the development of community-based programs, using Christian values, allowing the most disadvantaged children of the world to break out of the cycle of poverty in which they live.

The children of this world are the future. We are all God's children and we are all called to his Kingdom. HEDS UP for Los Niņos focuses on the youngest of the young with the intent to awaken and maximize the potential God has placed within them. We wish to search and find the most vulnerable of children and develop Health, Education, infant Development and Spirituality Programs that will maximize their potential to grow in the light of God's living Word. We believe children have an inherent thirst to seek their God given potential and future. God has a plan for each of them and it is the children.s "Thirst for God's Kingdom" that we seek to quench.
Children are impoverished in all societies, cultures and regions of the world. Poverty is also present in our most affluent societies.
Mother Teresa stated in 1974: "Today; the poor are hungry for bread and rice and for love and the living word of God.
The poor are thirsty -for water and for peace, truth and justice.
The poor are homeless -for shelter made of bricks, and for a joyful heart that understands, covers, and loves.
The poor are naked -for clothes, for human dignity and compassion for the naked sinner.
The poor are sick -for medical care, and for that gentle touch and a warm smile."
But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."
